Our Nursing team

It was fate that led Helen into dental nursing. Helen saw the job as a dental nurse advertised, applied, and got the job. She’s never looked back since. The thing Helen loves most about the job is watching the patients leave happy. Helen also enjoys being involved in the surgical aspects of nursing. Outside of work, Helen’s little boy keeps her fairly busy alongside training for 10k and half marathon runs.

Alice joined the practice in 2005. She chose dental nursing because she enjoys working with people and loves the fact that every day is different and there are always new and fascinating things to learn. Alice especially enjoys working with children, helping and teaching them to clean their teeth and making sure they feel less scared about coming to the dentist. Alice brings a lot of laughter and fun to the team. She’s very sociable and likes being busy with friends and family. Alice also enjoys running and keeping fit with the other nurses during the week.

Bridget has worked as a dental nurse for over eleven years. For her, the best thing about the job is working with the public; each person has a different story. She loves to chat, so this is the perfect job! Bridget also really enjoys supporting full mouth rebuilds and finds it incredibly satisfying to see the end result: the total transformation of a person’s appearance and confidence. Over the years, Bridget has become very close to the team and now feels like they are her extended family. With her relaxed, friendly nature, Bridget is amazing at calming nervous patients and helping them to feel more at ease in the dentist chair. Like Helen and Alice, Bridget keeps fit through boxing and walking her dog every day. She loves socialising with her friends and family at the weekend.
