For 10 years, she also worked for a practice that specialised in treating nervous patients. Viv gets immense satisfaction knowing that she can make a difference to a person’s sense of well-being and confidence through good dental hygiene treatment and homecare.
In tandem with her career at the practice, Viv runs a charity with her husband, Andy, which caters for the needs of young people in the Royston area. She loves all things to do with arts and crafts. In 1992, Viv completed a foundation course at the St Albans College of Art and Design. Some of her time at the charity is spent sharing her skills and love of art and design with the young people. Viv also loves restoring old buildings – currently a listed cottage built in 1600 – and growing vegetables.
