Monica Lee graduated from Guys & St Thomas’ Dental Hospital in 1997 as a dental surgeon. Following a year as a house officer at Guys dental hospital, Monica was a senior house officer in oral and maxillo-facial surgery in Chichester & Worthing hospitals, during which time she obtained her MFDS RCS.
She completed her specialist training in periodontics with merit in 2008 from King’s College London. After this she worked in Specialist practice and she was a clinical teacher of undergraduate dental students at Guys Dental institute, KCL.
She continues to work in Specialist practice and teaches general dental practitioners and vocational dental practitioners on periodontology and has published in journals and co authored an undergraduate text book.
Monica is a specialist periodontist and has a particular interest in the treatment of periodontal disease with both non surgical and surgical periodontology. She also treats more cosmetic cases for gingival recession, crown lengthening and regenerative surgery.
I enjoy my chosen speciality and feel patient care is the most important part of my role. I accept referrals from dentists, hygienists & therapists and patients themselves.
